Director -General of the ZGCTA:Wu Jianmin

Wu Jianmin, Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and the President of Beijing Academy of Science and Technology (BJAST), researcher, Ph.D. in economics. He received bachelor's and master's degrees from Renmin University of China and received his doctoral degree from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Previously, he had served as Deputy Director of Beijing Promotion Center for Software and Information Service Industry, Director of Beijing Sustainable Development Science and Technology Promotion Center, Director of the Science Publicity and Soft Science Division of Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Deputy Director and member of the Leading Party Members’ Group of the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Member of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Administrative Commission of Huairou Science Park. Besides, he has long been engaged in research, coordination, organization, management, implementation and promotion of strategies, planning, reforms, policies and projects for innovation and development of science and technology.
